I have decided, you will be thrilled to know, that the next few blogs will be dedicated to my fall favourites.

It’s really the only way I can show you any current obsessions. There is no way I can put it in one blog, new shipments keep coming, as do new obsessions.

Case in point: Sweaters.

Am obsessed with sweaters.

A new line just came into The Room, MUS (pronounced muse) is a new luxury knitwear line started 2 years ago.

Am also obsessed with sweaters and shorts. Can we please disregard dorky model? Consider the sweater instead.. And the shoes.

I f—ing love this sweater.

Moving right along..

Remember I told you about the Margiella oversize flap clutch?.. Here it is.

The bracelet and cuff are also new, amazing, no?

You are going to see a lot of the oversize clutch this season.. Worn, also, with the forever classic black (Balmain) blazer.

The perfect black pants just came in, Nina Ricci, everything about these pants works.

And how about Carven? GAWD it’s a good line. Very French ‘it-girl’. It has been shockingly popular since it came in.

Again with the clutch.. And continuing to disregard the model, can we look at the Charlotte Olympia shoes? The classic ‘Dolly’ is probably the most popular, they have sold out within days of coming in.

Have I mentioned leather pants yet? Big this season. Very big. Also in love with these Pierre Hardy wedge boots.

The leather pants are Vince, did I mention that Vince is now at The Bay? I feel like I could buy every piece of Vince – it’s one of those lines..

Kinda like the Beastie Boys Check Your Head record, loved every song instantly, I still do. That never happens anymore.

Stand by for coats and jackets, and more shoes..

Everybody loves this season. I honestly don’t know why it is so much more fun than spring/summer, do you? It’s just always been that way.

I start planning my fall wardrobe mid-July… As soon as new fall shipments start arriving, actually that’s not true, it’s possible that I start long before that. I just don’t want you to know the full extent of my obsessive mind..

Regardless.. It’s all in the dreaming and planning.

Starting with bags… I will always tell you spend money on the bags.

If you spend money on nothing else (besides boots, shoes, coats..) buy a gorgeous bag. It will always make your outfit.

This season’s bags are wicked. I have a few on my list or wants and recommendations:

The Keep All

Proenza Schouler, PS1 Keep All, smoke. Perfect for work and travel, and the colour goes with everything.

Louis Vuitton Artsy MM. Substantially more expensive than the PS1 keep-all.. But I LOVE it.

Continuing with the ‘substantially more expensive’ theme..

The Row XL Day Luxe.

Right? This has surpassed my love Celine’s Phantom.

I also love the PS11 textured leather tote, and am more likely to buy this one, considering it is not over 6k (The Row).

It’s a good one.

The Clutch

Ideally you will have a keep-all, a clutch and a lady (over the shoulder bag). You don’t have to buy them all at once, but let’s just put those three styles on your list. You will use all 3, I promise.

Alexander McQueen Classic Skull Studded, my favourite clutch.

Followed in short order by Margiella’s Oversized Flap Clutch.

Also, Nancy Gonzalez two tone Crocodile.

Or the Proenza Schouler Textured Leather Wristlet.

This competes for the top spot, YSL Opera Leopard Jacquard. Very lady, very classic.

One of this seasons hottest bags, seriously, you will see this everywhere, Proenza Schouler’s PS11

Although, I prefer it in navy..

I still like the Chloe Marcie bag, but only in the denim and leather.

I am obsessed with the Celine Shoulder bag. Obsessed.
