I love Barbara Bui. I do.

It’s fast becoming one of my favourite lines.

Some shots from this season’s ready to wear, it’s all arriving in store now.

Ready? Lot’s of leather.

It’s the pants. I don’t know if would do the leather shirt.

No, I know, I would not do the shirt. But I would wear those pants.

And this vest. I would wear this vest WITH the leather pants, good yes?

What about this dress? Come ON.

So, I know this is not a vest you can really wear easily, it IS sheer..

However, you can wear it with this shirt.

If the sheer is too much, for you, you can do the easier version..

God. I love white blouses and great pants.

And scarves. As we know, I love Denis Colomb, but this BBui scarf is so great.

I would wear this ALL the time.

OK so we know that everything in Paris is just a little bit more beautiful than the rest of the world.

It seems as though, in Paris, Art and Culture take a higher priority than commerce.

It’s evident everywhere, I mean, this is the mall..

Not unlike Pacific Centre, no?

And the Opera house.

This isn’t a blog about architecture in Paris, I am far to under qualified to write about that. It is, however, about the showrooms in Paris.

They are stunning.

Take for instance, Maison Rabih Kayrouz..

He is a Lebanese designer who came to Paris 4 years ago and has grown very very quickly.

His style is very simple, very pure.

The stairway up to his showroom.

And the massive floor to ceiling windows.

I loved the floor.

And the clothes. He used to do couture exclusively, until 4 years ago when he started ready-to-wear. Which is now carried at Le Clara, Bergdorf’s and The Room.

I love this dress.

Also, this showroom, Piazza Sempione..

This is where I met, and fell in love with my new favourite tea.

That’s just a few shots of 2 of the showrooms.. I haven’t even said anything about Charlotte Olympia.. I would stay and write more, but I have to run and pick up some shoes.. Speaking of Charlotte Olympia..
