It’s freezing all of a sudden, right? I don’t have the right coat..

What?..

I don’t.

I think I need to get a Canada Goose parka.. I don’t care if they are ‘last year’, they look so warm.. Thoughts?

Obviously I spent a fair amount of time looking online at other options, this is what I have come up with..

Haider Ackermann. I love this man. I love this colour.

I am thinking of wearing more colour, inspired by an outstanding client who told me to ‘get over myself and stop it already with the black’

I liked her immediately.

She was buying this AHmazing Proenza Schouler neoprene coat.

See below, but long. This picture is the jacket. She bought the coat. It looks incredible.

I love this coat, and I just might buy it, inspired by her.

I said, I don’t like to stand out.. And she said, listen to this.. She said, you already do, don’t be an idiot. Wear the coat.

I just love people who call it as they see it.

I did buy this Maison Martin Margiella coat.

It’s NAVY, in case you were about to get smart..

And look at it open!

Now… If I DID want another black coat, there wouldn’t be anything wrong with that.. Not one thing.

It would be this Barbara Bui military coat.

This one is still available too.. Look at it open..

There are another two coats at Zara right now, that I would also buy.

Just in the interest of staying warm.

Or this one, Leather Biker coat.

I could also holiday-it-up with this red Joseph coat, also still available..

But I probably wont.. I would prefer Proenza Schouler.

Obviously I was floored when it was suggested that I go to Paris for fashion week..

It’s possible that I have the world’s best job.. For me.. You may not want it, but that’s ok MMGF is a surgeon and I don’t want her job, I don’t like blood at all.

It was an amazing experience. I am grateful.

We went to buy for Spring 13, again, amazing..

I was hardly concerned about how to do my job there, I was, however, concerned about what I would wear.

Right before I left, this wicked Maison Martin Margiella coat came in. I wore it with a darling Skaist Taylor dress that you cant see, it’s cute though.

New favourite jeans, R13, Balmain blazer, Kain t-shirt, Maison Martin Margiella fringe booties, and oversize clutch.

It was a fast trip, in and out, 4 days in Paris. I brought 2 suitcases.

It was a whirlwind of showrooms, starting with Nicholas Kirkwood.

Philip Lim, which I loved. So excited for that brand.

Nina Ricci.. When we walked in Grace Coddington was there. I couldn’t take a picture though… Too tacky..

My sense of decorum disappeared, though, when Valentino, JLo and her boyfriend walked into VBH.

Valentino is impeccable. A little tan, but flawless.. And JLo is a star in every sense of the word.

I fell totally in love with Denis Colomb scarves. I mean, totally in love.

They are the most beautiful and luxurious scarves, all hand made in perfect colours.. Worth every penny. Can’t wait to get them.

And elegant full skirt dresses, like this one at Andrew Gn.

And Rochas.

I know, I don’t like the sunglasses either.. They were part of the runway looks.

Rochas also did this amazing dress and jacket that I would wear if I was Kate Bosworth 5 years ago, remember when she wore that amazing red Calvin Klein dress to an Oscar party?..
